Service Overview

Job Search PH ("JSPH," "we," "us," or "our") is a candidate–employer matching platform that connects jobseekers with potential employers across the Philippines.

Our services include
  • Screening and reviewing candidate information
  • Matching candidates to job opportunities
  • Facilitating communication between employers and jobseekers
Disclaimer

Job Search PH is not a recruitment agency, employer, or employee. We do not employ, supervise, manage, or control any jobseeker or employer. We act solely as a third-party matching platform, and we are not party to the employment relationship formed between users.

Nature of the Platform

  • Job Search PH operates primarily as an online-based service.
  • No physical office visit is required unless explicitly arranged.
  • All matching, communication, and coordination are conducted online or through mutually agreed channels, such as email or Messenger.

How Matching Works

Employers submit a job request describing the role, requirements, and offered compensation. Jobseekers apply and provide their information through our designated channels. JSPH reviews and screens candidates, then endorses suitable matches to the employer. The employer conducts its own interviews and makes the final hiring decision.

Endorsement of a candidate is a recommendation only and does not constitute a guarantee of suitability, hiring, or performance.

Service Fee

  • A service fee (covering matching and facilitation) is charged to employers only. We never charge jobseekers, consistent with the Domestic Workers Act (Republic Act No. 10361).
  • No placement, no fee. No service fee is due unless a candidate is successfully hired by the employer.
  • The service fee is equivalent to twenty percent (20%) of the candidate's agreed first-month salary, unless a different amount is agreed in writing.
  • The fee becomes due upon turnover of the candidate's complete requirements, or the candidate's first day of work — whichever comes first.
  • Payment confirms the employer's commitment to the selected candidate.
  • Fees are non-refundable once a candidate has been hired, except as expressly provided under the Replacement Guarantee (Section 5).
Plain-language summary

You only pay if you hire. The fee is a one-time service fee based on the agreed first-month salary, due when the worker starts or when requirements are turned over.

Replacement Guarantee

If a hired candidate resigns, is dismissed for valid cause, or proves unsuitable within thirty (30) calendar days of their first day of work, JSPH will endeavor to provide one (1) replacement candidate at no additional service fee, subject to candidate availability and to the employer's compliance with these Terms.

The guarantee does not apply where:

  • The employer materially misrepresented the role, working conditions, or compensation;
  • The departure resulted from unlawful, unsafe, or unfair treatment of the worker;
  • The agreed service fee was not paid; or
  • More than thirty (30) days have passed since the candidate's first day.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the guarantee covers one replacement per placement.

Candidate Verification

  • JSPH conducts basic screening and verification of candidate information.
  • Verification is based on data provided by jobseekers and on available references.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of any information provided.
  • Employers remain responsible for conducting their own background checks and final validation before hiring.

Employer Responsibilities

Employers agree to:

  • Conduct interviews and make their own final hiring decisions;
  • Provide fair compensation and humane working conditions;
  • Comply with Philippine labor laws, including the Domestic Workers Act (RA 10361);
  • Ensure workplace safety and the lawful, respectful treatment of workers.

JSPH is not responsible for employer conduct or decisions, salary disputes or employment terms, or workplace conditions and private agreements.

Jobseeker Responsibilities

Jobseekers agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information;
  • Be available and responsive when matched;
  • Communicate professionally with employers;
  • Honor interview and job commitments.

JSPH is not liable for false or misleading information provided by jobseekers, or for jobseeker behavior, performance, or actions.

Conduct, Safety & Risk Acknowledgment

JSPH does not supervise or control the behavior of employers or jobseekers. By using this platform, both parties acknowledge that:

  • JSPH is not liable for theft, loss of property, or damages caused by either party;
  • JSPH is not responsible for physical harm, injury, harassment, abuse, or misconduct;
  • All employment arrangements are entered into at the user's own risk;
  • Employers must conduct their own due diligence;
  • Jobseekers must evaluate employer safety and legitimacy.
No liability between users

Job Search PH is not a party to any relationship, agreement, or interaction between an employer and a jobseeker, and accepts no liability for any act, omission, dispute, loss, damage, injury, or harm arising between them — whether before, during, or after a placement, and whether occurring on or off the platform. All dealings between the two parties are conducted solely between themselves and entirely at their own risk.

No Guarantee of Employment or Performance

  • JSPH does not guarantee employment for jobseekers.
  • JSPH does not guarantee hiring decisions by employers.
  • JSPH does not guarantee candidate performance, behavior, or reliability beyond the limited Replacement Guarantee in Section 5.

Off-Platform Communication

  • Any communication or agreement made outside Job Search PH is the sole responsibility of both parties.
  • JSPH is not liable for disputes arising from off-platform transactions or private arrangements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JSPH shall not be liable for employment disputes, financial losses, damages caused by either party, or job-performance issues.

Liability cap

Our maximum aggregate liability to any party is limited to the service fees actually paid to JSPH by that party in connection with the relevant placement.

Data Usage & Privacy Policy

JSPH processes personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

13.1 — Data we collect

  • Name, age, and contact details;
  • Employment history and skills;
  • Location and work preferences.

13.2 — Purpose

  • Matching candidates with employers;
  • Communication and coordination;
  • Service improvement.

13.3 — Data sharing

  • Shared only with relevant employers during the matching process;
  • Never sold to third parties under any circumstances.

13.4 — Data security

  • Protected with reasonable technical and organizational safeguards;
  • Access limited to authorized personnel only.

13.5 — Your rights

In accordance with the Data Privacy Act, you may request access to your personal data, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion where applicable. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.

AI & Automation Disclosure

  • JSPH may use AI or automated systems for communication and initial screening.
  • Some responses may be partially automated.
  • Final decisions are reviewed and handled by human administrators.

Service Availability

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • Delays may occur due to demand, availability, or external factors.

User Misconduct

JSPH reserves the right to refuse service, remove users, or restrict access for:

  • Fraud or misrepresentation;
  • Abuse of the platform or of other users;
  • Unprofessional or harmful behavior.

Force Majeure

JSPH is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, power interruptions, or critical system failures.

Intellectual Property

All branding, systems, content, and materials are owned by Job Search PH. Unauthorized reproduction or use is strictly prohibited.

Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where practicable, material changes will be announced through our official channels. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law & Acceptance

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute shall be brought before the proper courts of Negros Occidental.

By using Job Search PH, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all conditions outlined in this document, and that you accept all associated risks. Your continued use constitutes your full acceptance of these Terms.
